| Giving Hope to the Poor in Mexico |
|
Puerto Penasco, Mexico is a popular destination just
four hours south of Phoenix, Arizona. Not far from the beaches and
restaurants of Puerto Penasco lay an impoverished community called
Colonia Oriente. God laid a heavy burden for these people on the
hearts of Juaro and Rose Silva. It was easy to identify all of the
suffering and hardships caused by a lack of basic necessities such
as shelter, electricity, food and water, however the Silvas also say
a great spiritual need as well. Thus the Association for
International Ministries (AIM) was formed. |

Our Mission
We are a
Christ-centered organization committed to reaching out to
impoverished communities in Sonora,
Mexico. AIM addresses the physical and social needs of the
community through non-perishable food distribution,
education and preventative health programs. Spiritual
needs are met through evangelistic programs in conjunction
with local church organizations.
Our Vision
We desire to see
the people we serve become Christ-centered,
self-sufficient and able to
reach out and serve others
intheir own community.
